Some of you are relatively new to these e-news articles and the Café 41:11 ministry. Welcome to the group! I can’t wait to see how God is going to grow and stretch your faith and use you for His glory. The rest of you have faithfully prayed for, and supported, this ministry since my family took a step of faith in 2005 to begin the process of opening a café in Medina.
I have some good news for our “veteran” friends and supporters.
THE FOUNDING FAMILIES MURAL IS AT THE CAFÉ!!
Before the café opened, we ran a fundraiser called FOUNDING FAMILIES. We promised a mural with the names of individuals, families, businesses, and churches willing to give a special one-time donation to help us open the doors. Our graphic artist, Luke Andrews of LEAPWISE MEDIA, took the names and incorporated them into this mural. The names form an image of a…well, you’ll just have to come by and see it.
The Annual Medina Ice Festival is on the Square making it the perfect weekend to stop by the café for a FREE hot chocolate, to glance over the mural to find your name, and walk the square with your “valentine” while enjoying some cool ice sculptures.
The café will be open:
Friday February 13, 3 - 9 p.m.
Saturday February 14, 3 - 9 p.m.
Sunday February 15, 3 - 6 p.m.
Your generosity, prayers, and support helped make this ministry a reality…and we sincerely thank you and want to recognize your faith in us and in our great King. (Maybe we should consider creating a second mural since we’ve been blessed with so many new volunteers, friends, and supporters.) I plan on snapping some pictures of the mural to post them on the website for our out-of-state FOUNDING FAMILIES.
