A volunteer asked me last week, "Can you believe it's been one year?"
"No...I can't!" I replied. But it has been one year.
The weekend before Thanksgiving Day the Medina Cafe 41:11 will officially celebrate one year of operations.

The Annual Medina Candlelight Walk on Medina's Historic Square will be Friday November 21, Saturday November 22, & Sunday November 23. Cafe 41:11 will be open those three days. We hope you'll stop in to join us in giving thanks to God and to you, our dear supporters and friends, for making this year possible!

- Saturday November 22, 2008 3:00 - 9:00 p.m.
- Sunday November 23, 2008 4:00 - 8:00 p.m.
We're working to have live music during the Friday and Saturday night shifts (more details to follow). The cafe will be decorated for Christmas and we'll have a tree onsite with special ornaments listing some of our needs and prayer requests. We’re thankful to God and to His people for an amazing year of serving young people and families in Medina.
The Medina café will partner with M.O.P.S. (Mothers of Preschoolers) during the Candlelight Walk. MOPS is an awesome non-profit organization working to meet and serve the needs of Moms raising God’s precious little children. MOPS will offer homemade goodies by donation at the Medina café. We invite you to stop by Café 41:11 and show your support of the café and MOPS by enjoying lots of homemade goodies and plenty of hot chocolate, coffee, and tea!
Free Work Lunch Program
Don't forget to take a look at this weeks free work lunch program. On Friday November 14 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. we'll be serving your choice of Cream of Broccoli or Two Bean Soup along with a Chicken Salad Sandwich or an Albacore Tuna Salad Sandwich.
