XXX is my favorite flavor of Vitamin Water made by glaceau. I absolutely LOVE it! Mindee's favorite drink is Mountain Blast POWER-ADE made by Coca Cola. I have to say, XXX is better. It's called XXX because it contains triple the antioxidants. This delicious drink contains vitamin C, vitamin b3, vitamin b5, vitamin b6, and vitamin b12. Did I mention it's delicious?
It quenches my thirst and makes me feel refreshed.
Have these cafe e-news updates refreshed your faith? Has reading them helped quench your thirst for seeing that God is real and that He loves you and promises to provide for you?
I've heard from so many of you how these stories have touched your heart and encouraged your faith. You've been moved to follow how Jesus is using His people at the Cafe to serve the needs of others. You've been reminded how God is sovereign. (He owns each of us and everything we posses.) You've also read the amazing stories of how the Lord has provided the monies we've needed to continue this important ministry.
He can do the same in your life. He really can! Ask yourself: Am I ready for an exciting roller coaster ride of faith?

I do not often use these e-news stories to ask for monthly support, because that is not the purpose of these updates. However, we are in need of more consistent monthly support to keep the doors open.
Give $10, $20, or $50 a month in support of the Medina café and/or its missionaries. There are almost 200 people on this e-news distribution list. Only 17 individuals give monthly to me or the café. If the other 183 individuals gave $10 a month to the café, that would more than cover the money needed monthly to pay the rent. We are in need of a strong drink of vitamin M (money).
Please refresh us with your monthly support of $10 a month. I very much dislike asking for monetary support, but it's part of my job. Please...get up, grab your checkbook, and make a commitment to support this ministry. Trust the Lord to provide for you as you sacrificially give to Him. I need to thank those who currently give. You truly are a refreshing drink. You sustain us, refresh us, and give us what we need to continue reaching the lost with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. If you feel led to give us more of a vitamin M boost, we would be so grateful.

In the first year of this ministry, we've seen 3 young people make a commitment to trust Jesus Christ with their lives and have given them rides to local churches. The volunteers are actively praying for guests, listening to guests, talking to them about Jesus, and vigorously feeding their hungry bellies. Our guests are people who would never darken the doors of a Church, but they would walk into a coffee house. And so, we need some vitamin M (money).

We served over 50 guests on Friday September 5, 2008 from 3 - 6 p.m. And continue to see new teenagers stop by the cafe. And so, we need some vitamin M (money).

We continue to take prayer requests and pray for those who do not have a home church or a loving family. And that the cafe is truly becoming the Church in action. It's becoming a place where God's people can play an active role in serving hope to the hopeless...right here in Medina. And so, we need some vitamin M (money).

There are 6 churches who believe in the effectiveness of this ministry and show their support by financially supporting the cafe and/or its missionaries. By God's grace, a new church is partnering with us starting this month bringing the total to 7. However, we need some more vitamin M (money).
