Do you remember the heart wrenching moment as a kid in elementary school when the teacher took a vote on how students were eating lunch?

I recall the conversation going something like this:

“Who brought their lunch today?” the teacher asks. Tiny arms scattered across the classroom dart in the air.

“Who is buying lunch?” More hands reach for the ceiling.

“Who is receiving a free lunch?” Ouch! That dreaded question that still haunts many of us. The teacher may as well have stitched a scarlet letter “F” on our t-shirt for FREE.

Café 41:11 believes that FREE does not have to be a dreaded concept any longer. We’re here to redeem FREE. After all, you’re grown up now, you work hard, and you deserve a break! We’re offering a free lunch program for busy, hard-working parents and professionals. Our Friday Free Work Lunch Program is free…no joke! It’s by donation only. We ask that you consider giving a donation, because your generous gift will enable us to continue freely serving the teenagers, families, and residents of Medina in need of hope – one cup at a time.

The Free Work Lunch Program is by reservation only. You’ll have the choice of a sandwich and a hot cup of soup to enjoy at the café or take back to the office. You can stop by the café anytime between 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Friday’s to receive your free lunch. We need to know how much food to prepare so please call Tim Van Arsdale (330-304-5449) or e-mail Tim (tim@cafe4111.org) with your order before 10:00 a.m. Friday. Please leave a message with your order if Tim is unable to answer your call.
