Each shift is different, some quieter than others, some crazier but we
really never know what God is up to.
So when David showed up right before our 3-6pm shift ended one Saturday
night, and wanted to talk, it was a God thing.
Rick and Sandy came for the next shift and we all ended up chatting for
awhile. But then a woman came in, she said she wasn't headed for the
cafe, she just kind of ended up here. We started talking about what was
going on in her life. Sandy went off to visit with David, Rick and I with
our visitor. We talked about many things until we got to the heart of the
issue - Obedience. She was about to do something she knew was not
biblically correct. We talked about God can't bless us if we are
knowingly doing wrong. I warped back to one of my favorite Adventures in
Odyssey shows, "The End Doesn't Justify the Means". It was a great
discussion and good timing for a slow night people wise! She said she felt
she had more clarity and was ready to trust God. We prayed together and
somehow it was 8:30!
Thanks for your prayers and support so we can be used by God! Janis

Re: No two shifts are alike!
Hi Jan, Thanks for the update. God is blessing your ministry by having an affect on others and it shows. May God continue to be the wind beneath your wings and may you continue to soar higher with His strength and power. Sometime God's power gives me "goose bumps" because of what He can accomplish when we are sensitive to His leading. God Bless, Bill
