Hi all!

First, I want to thank all of you who were able to make it to the OPENHOUSE on the 14th.  Harish counted over 75 people between 7-9:00pm.  That was so encouraging.  We are thrilled that a few more people took volunteer applications and others offered to send food.  Thanks so much. 

We had a great time at Weymouth Services and the Sunday School classes. There were lots of questions asked and comments made.  Please feel free to call me anytime.  We would love to present the Cafe to other social organizations! 

The latest on Michael is that he is in jail because he missed his court date.  This is always hard for me because I know how long it took me to stop trying to take charge of my boys' lives and let them set their own alarms for school, etc.  Can't tell you how many times one of the boys in Norton missed their hearings!  I have to believe that this may be just what he needs right now and the greatest thing we can do for him is pray for him! 

Unfortunately, I have not seen David again.  I am out in Colorado now taking training for the Life Skills International program you may have heard me talk about.  I feel just today the Lord gave me words for David through today's training.  Please pray for David and I to reconnect next week. 

Meanwhile, last week we had several new teens in who were first timers and wowed by the Cafe 41:11 concept.  Of course, it's one of my favorite conversations explaining how people support the Cafe to show God's love. Thanks for showing God's LOVE!  One favorite conversation was with a boy visiting from Cleveland.  He just kept saying there's no place like this at home.  He wanted to tell his dad about it, in hopes that he would donate. On a library computer, time is almost up will finish this story next time!
